Job summary
NHS Bury Talking Therapies service is seeking to recruit an NHS Talking Therapies Team Manager who will support the day to day operational management of the service.
This is an excellent opportunity for a mental health professional / applied psychological professional to advance their career in NHS Talking Therapies team management.
NHS Bury Talking Therapies provides a range of evidence-based interventions for people requiring a psychological intervention for anxiety and / or depression between step 2 and 3 of the NHS Talking Therapies (formerly IAPT) stepped care model. The successful candidate will manage, organise and lead a small team of psychological therapists delivering NICE approved therapies within the NHS Bury Talking Therapies service.
Main duties of the job
The Team Manager, employed by Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust, will support with the operational management of the team and support with the strategic management of the wider pathway. The clinical leadership team will provide clinical oversight and strategic development. The post will involve supporting the management and development of pathways both internally and externally.

- Diploma or Degree in Mental Health profession eg RMN RGN DipSW
- Qualified to Diploma Level in a Psychological Therapy eg Advanced Diploma in Counselling (with Accreditation) or Other Psychological Therapy Training at Diploma level eg CBT
- Accredited Psychological Therapist with a recognised accrediting body
