Job summary
To provide highly specialised assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge or recommendations to identified specialist caseload in a community setting. To work collaboratively with other professionals who work with identified specialist caseload.To be lead Speech and Language Therapist within the specialist area in the departments in consultation with respective line managers.To liaise with and/or train relevant professionals, may be uni-professional and/or interdisciplinary/agency.To develop links, pathways and where appropriate, joined up working practices with key partner agencies.To act as a specialist resource to CAMHSThe post holder must maintain a professional standard in the duties designated, maintain patient confidentiality, patient respect and dignity and be responsible for clinical equipment.

4) To adapt practice to meet individual patients' circumstances, including due regard for culture and linguistic differences, and work with interpreters as appropriate.
