Role Summary:

An opportunity has arisen within Tameside for a Registered Mental Health nurse to join the ADHD service in providing adult ADHD assessments. The post will be based at Outram Road in Dukinfied.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities of the Post:

  • To ensure high quality assessment of adults referred to the service.
  • To signpost adults to a range of quality psychotherapeutic interventions in accordance with individual assessed need.
  • To deliver group work with adults and their carers.
  • To be responsible for and manage a defined caseload and undertake case management responsibilities within the caseload.
  • To liaise closely with a wide range of agencies
  • To undertake liaison and joint work with other professionals outside of the MDT
  • To provide consultation and training on a wide range of adult's emotional health and well-being issues to professionals from a range of services including GP's, Primacy Care Services, Adult Mental Health Services and Probation Services

    Key Requirements of the Person Specification:

    RMN: Registered Mental Health Nurse

    Experience in a Community Mental Health Team setting

    Current driving licence or supported driver with use of vehicle.
