Job summary
We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist to work as part of our team in Secondary Care Psychology Oldham. We provide a psychology service to clients who are under the care of the CMHT (who work with clients with moderate-severe mental health difficulties).
Our team is friendly, supportive and innovative and is recognised as a positive place to work. Our team is in the process of expanding and this is an exciting time to join the service.
Please note: We WILL accept applications from those who are about to complete their clinical doctorate. If you are successful at interview this post will be a preceptorship post (starting at a Band 7 and moving to an 8a after the preceptorship process)
Main duties of the job
The full details are listed in the job description. In summary, this role includes a range of work from therapeutic work, to training, consultation and supervision. The ideal candidate would be experienced in working with clients who have experienced complex, enduring or severe trauma. Training in, or a willingness to be trained in, EMDR would be beneficial.
