An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Speech and Language Therapist to join a highly experienced multi-professional Neurodevelopment Team in Bury CAMHS.
Delivery of evidence based Speech and Language Therapy services including assessments and specialist interventions to young people on the neurodevelopment pathway including autism who may have complex and challenging needs. You will be working in a multidisciplinary context with the expectation to be person centred, creative and innovative in meeting the communication needs of individuals whilst offering support to the young person and families / carers, evaluating the effectiveness of intervention packages and implementing outcome measures
Evidence of supervisory skills is essential as the post holder will be involved in the development, implementation and review of care pathways alongside experienced clinicians from other areas of the directorate. The post holder will have excellent communication skills and negotiation skills and work alongside other professionals, families and carers. The post holder will manage the Speech and Language Therapy input to the team.
Alongside development of the communication needs of young people, the post holder will also be experienced in assessment and supervision and will carry a small case load in this area
