Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint a Locum Appointment for Service (LAS) at Core Trainee level 1-3. whole time appointment to this established post with Oldham Mental Health Services. The successful candidate will cover a trainee vacancy from 01.10.2022 to 05.12.2022 for the Outpatients service.
Main duties of the job
Clinical Duties:
This post is to provide consistent and experienced medical support to the outpatient service. The work will include the care of all patients aged between 16 and 64.
Patients will be seen in clinics which are held at the Cherrywood Clinic on the Royal Oldham Hospital site
Duties will consist of assessing patients and where appropriate initiating treatment. Communication will be established with the appropriate Consultant/General Practitioner and advice and support sought as needed.

The starting point will be determined subject to seniority and experience of the successful applicant. With the minimum of two years service and over the LAS Doctors are entitled to 6 weeks of annual leave equivalent to 30 days in a year. If the service is under two years the annual leave entitlement is 5 weeks, 25 days over 12 months. The Supervising Consultant must approve leave providing that there are no on calls.
