An exciting opportunity has arisen to be a part of the Multidisciplinary Team as Principal Clinical Psychologist .Working in a flexible /hybrid approach the post holder will provideevidenced based care and play an an integral role indelivering a recovery focused serviceas part of a whole system approach.
The multidisciplinary team will provide specialist clinical care and work within an overall framework for the delivery of community mental health services to support people with complex psychosis who are living in funded placements, including care homes and supported accommodation. Incorporating the NICE guidelines for complex psychosis and supported by the Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT) national program

- Post graduate doctorate qualification in clinical psychology, including specifically models of psychopathology, clinical, psychometrics, two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology as accredited by the BPS, or a statement of equivalence.
- Additional further training and qualifications in a range of therapeutic models (e.g. CBT, CAT, psycho-analytic therapies)
- Extensive experience or specific training in supervision (including trainee clinical psychologists and other professionals within the MDT)
- Current registration with Health Professions Council or Professional registration body.
Desirable
- Accredited membership of an appropriate psychological therapy professional body e.g.
- BABCP accreditation
- Successful completion of post-qualification training in a therapeutic modality (e.g. CBT, CAT) in addition to core training
