Job summary
The post holder will act as the main point of contact for all services within their area with regards to PPE stock queries and orders.
The post holder will work under the management and direction of the PPE manager to ensure an equitable and appropriate distribution of stock across the organisation.
This includes implementing appropriate stock rotation systems and ensuring stock levels within the borough are maintained appropriately. This will involve liaising with the procurement team and colleagues within the Trust
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that the Trust PPE Dashboard is maintained and stock level data for teams within the borough is inputted accurately in a timely manner.
Main duties of the job
- Effective materials management of Personal Protective Equipment ("PPE") stock to support staff and service users.
- Manage the borough PPE queries inbox ensuring timely responses to all queries.
- To provide administrative support within the PPE Team within standard administrative procedures and contribute to the planning and development of the service/department as a member of the team.
- Occasional requirement to support clinical areas with twice weekly stock take
- To manage the borough PPE inbox ensuring all emails are actioned appropriately
- Ensure deliveries of goods are accurate, on time and stored in a professional manner in line with Trust manual handling and health and safety at work regulations.
- To deal with all enquiries effectively and responsively, deciding upon appropriate follow-up action.
- Experience using a variety of Microsoft software, Excel, word, publisher and power point for accurate manipulation, recording and reporting of large amounts of data/information
- Frequent requirement to transport goods and materials between work locations. This will involve safe and efficient packing, transportation and delivery of goods and hazardous substances across the Trust footprint.
- Be prepared to move to new areas of responsibility when asked to do so by the PPE Manager.
- To input data onto a computerised system.
- To maintain records both manually and electronically, producing routine information as required.
