Job summary

The post holder will provide the leadership, operational co-ordination andmanagement for the Adult Acute Mental Health Inpatient Wards and HomeTreatment Team in the designated borough. This will involve working closely with the borough Associate Director and partner agencies to ensure the delivery and development of high quality services within the borough.

Main duties of the job

This role is part of the senior management team in Stockport and will play a crucial role in ensuring patient flow enabling patients to receive the right level of care at the right time. You will develop and manage a skilled, competent and confident workforce who are able to accurately assess patients mental heath needs level of risk to ensure through robust gatekeeping that acute care is delivered in the appropriate environment.
