Job summary
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated Nurse Associate who has a passion for delivering safe, high-quality care to children and their families in the community.
We currently have a vacancy in our Children's Community Nursing team for an enthusiastic Nursing Associate to join our existing team.
Working as part of the Children's Community Nursing Team you will develop skills in areas such as medication and enteral feed administration, wound management, and gastrostomy care and you will also be key in delivering high-quality patient care in the community.
Main duties of the job
The Children's Community Specialist Nursing team provides a range of services including support to colleagues within the primary health care team, specialist hospital teams, care within the patient's home, care co-ordination, post diagnosis and post bereavement support to families, children and young people with a wide variety of conditions. These range from those children needing acute short term interventions to children and young people with complex healthcare needs including those requiring palliative and terminal care.
To work under the direction/delegation of a Registered Nurse to provide nursing care to children and support to families on the caseload.
