The community nursing team across Peterborough are currently offering opportunities for full time and part time hours working within CPFT. We provide a service 7 days a week, working closely with other community services and PCN's to provide high standard holistic care to the population of Peterborough.

You will have opportunity to develop yourself, with extensive learning and development opportunities.

Main duties of the job

As a community staff nurse, you will be working as an autonomous practitioner within the multi-disciplinary team and neighbourhood team. You will provide high standard of nursing care and interventions within the patient's own home, with support from the wider team.

The patient will be at the centre of care being provided, ensuring patient and carer participation in decision making. You will be accountable for assessing, interpreting, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment to patients within professional guidelines. Patient needs will be identified through holistic nursing.

You will have opportunity to provide support and education to peers, new staff and students.
