Job summary

You will work together with the Darwin Nursery and Farm Shop Team. Darwin Nurseries and farm shop is a therapeutic horticultural and retail workplace where adults with learning disabilities and mental health challenges can develop skills in horticulture, retail and animal husbandry.

The Sunday Farm Shop Assistant will work in a busy farm shop selling fruit and vegetables, plants and garden sundries.

Main duties of the job

The Sunday Farm Shop assistant will be responsible for ensuring the farm shop, cafe and plant nursery are maintained to a high standard. Customer service and cash handling will be an essential part of the role.

Stock control, presentation and maintaining health and safety on the site is required, as well as the ability to maintain site security.
