Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a mental health Band 3 Health care worker to join the Mulberry 2 inpatient mental health team. The successful candidate will be embedded within an exciting integrated care model within the Fulbourn hospital. The role is based at Fulbourn hospital Cambridge with caf and free parking onsite.

The Mental health team's key objectives are to support patients and their carers assisting delivering treatment and optimising the recovery of individual patients under our care in hospital. As a health care worker, you will work closely with the nurses and doctors to implement care plans, manage risk, enhance recovery and work with carers and family's.

The successful candidate will bring not only experience of supporting people living with mental illness but an ability to be imaginative, innovative, and highly motivated to make a difference. Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide support and care for service users with mental and physical health needs and to their carers within a multidisciplinary setting. They will undertake assigned tasks under the general supervision of a registered nurse, including assisting in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care.

The post holder will be trained to ensure that issues of equality, diversity and rights are dealt with in accordance with good practice and legislation.
