OPAC (Older People and Adult Community Services) administration service is recruiting a Site Support Administrator to be part of an exciting and innovative remodel that's going to provide essential administration support to our clinical services enabling them to focus on delivering outstanding patient care.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be providing general on-site administration support to our community clinicians of varying professions. Working as part of a countywide team covering Cambridgeshire & Peterborough.
The post holder will be supporting our five Huntingdon locations, with the potential to support other localities as required therefore access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential as is a full UK drivers licence.
Main duties include:
- Weekly Stores/Dressings and pathology Orders for DNs
- Patient Specialist Order
- Order Stationary
- Ordering of Toners & Ink - Printer
- Ordering Non Cat/Stock Items
- Ordering adhoc items i.e. Desk Risers/Secure document bags/headsets
- Ordering VAC dressings / Tena
- Archiving
- Buffer Stock - checking / turning on monthly to keep on server
- Printed resources to be made available within the teams, i.e. yellow folders, leaflets etc.
- Asset Management Register Maintenance
- Arrange for Clinical Engineering to visit hub/base
- Arrange for equipment to be sent to Clinical engineering for repair, maintenance and asset registration
- PPE Stock levels and audit (not all sites)
- Fridge Temperatures (not all sites)

Please note for this role you will be required to travel independently around the county meeting strict time deadlines. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence* and have use of a vehicle. You cannot use public transport for this role as this is not a reliable form of transport and will not allow you to meet service needs. - Taking on full responsibility of various weekly procurement across multiple teams of varying professions & differing requirements.
- Providing a high level of administration support to our clinical teams, building good professional relationships whilst setting & ensuring remit boundaries.
- Organising of medical device compliance, including servicing & repair of essential clinical equipment by liaising with third party organisations.
- Provide operational support to colleagues, and supervision of Band 2 administration staff within the team, if required, as directed by Line Manager.
- Inputting and updating service user information and service user/team activity on computerised information systems, creating service user notes where necessary and according to policy.
- Maintain filing in both paper and electronic records, ensuring that it is always kept up to date. In accordance with Trust procedures, track and receive notes in a timely manner.
- Undertake training of new staff as directed by Line Manager and/or other managers.
- Provide cover as directed by Line Manager for other members of the admin team in their absence and assist with their workloads as necessary and undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required commensurate with the grade of the post.
