Staff Development Facilitator

Job summary

We are recruiting a permanent Staff Development Facilitator who has extensive experience of the design, delivery and facilitation of development interventions and can work as a core member of the Staff Development Training Faculty.

You will be educated to post-graduate diploma level (or equivalent level of knowledge or experience), possess excellent written/verbal communication skills and have significant experience of designing and delivering training, including in a virtual environment. A qualification or experience in coaching, mentoring and/or action learning is desirable.

The Staff Development team's vision is to build and deliver a world-class inclusive, innovative, and relevant learning and development offer which enables UCLH staff to be high-performing, achieve their full potential, and provide excellent patient care.

Main duties of the job

As well as supporting delivery of a portfolio of courses and programmes, the postholder will act as overall lead for one of the core programmes. They will also review the format, content and delivery of all learning interventions in line with feedback and the changing needs of the Trust, identify and respond to new training requirements for UCLH staff, and support implementation of the national Management & Leadership Development (MALD) Framework.
