An exciting opportunity has arisen within the R&D finance team to join as Management Accountant to provide a comprehensive financial management support to the Research & Development Directorate. This post is an ideal opportunity to develop your accounting career in R&D Finance in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Main duties of the job
As a qualified Accountant or at final stage of ACCA/CIMA/CCAB qualification, you will be providing Management Accounting service to UCLH and UCL Researchers and internal and external stake holders.
Responsible for the delivery of monthly management reporting, ensuring that timely reconciliations, variance analyses & forecasting are delivered to expected timescales & standards.
Act as the designated financial management representative at service management and operational meetings.
Identifying opportunities for financial efficiencies and high-lighting areas of risk and ensuring these are closely monitored.
Provide and present complex financial management information and advice to internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare and submit quarterly, annual and end of grant returns in line with contractual obligations.
Provide costing support for Research funding applications and business cases Support senior finance team with ad hoc reporting requirements.
