Job summary
This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in research and development (R&D) in Radiotherapy services at UCLH. They will be a crucial member of the R&D team, involved in service development projects as per the departmental workplan, collaborative research projects with our academic partner UCL and to facilitate the opening of Radiotherapy clinical trials. In addition, the post holder will take a lead role in the implementation and maintenance of the Evaluative Commissioning in Protons (ECIP) portfolio. The roles involve the collation and analysis of research data and the dissemination of findings locally, nationally, and internationally via presentations and publications.

Main duties of the job
o To manage the clinical implementation of the Radiotherapy Trials and ECIP Portfolio
o To implement selected Radiotherapy studies and ECIP studies into clinical practice in a timely manner.
o To ensure that trial protocols, processes and timelines are adhered to.
o To develop protocols as part of the wider radiotherapy MDT for in-house studies
o To assist in the development and maintenance of databases as appropriate
o To ensure that trial data and Case Report Forms (CRFs), as required, are completed within appropriate time guidelines

- Health Profession Council (HPC) registration as a therapy or nuclear medicine radiographer.
