Job summary
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the Mortuary Team as a Trainee Anatomical Pathology Technologist.
This vacancy has been advertised in accordance with the new NHS pay rate which will take effect from autumn 2024. Please note if your employment starts before the 24/25 pay scales are implemented you will be paid under the 23/24 pay scales and any backpay will be adjustedaccordingly. Main duties of the job
We are looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and keen attention to detail. The successful candidate will act as additional resource to receive and release patients at the mortuary and assist at post mortem examinations. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who is keen to develop a career as an Anatomical Pathology Technologist in an NHS mortuary.
Applicants must be willing to work towards a level 3 Diploma in Anatomical Pathology. Full on the job training provided.
