Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with the Urology team as part of the Surgical Specialities validation team to assist with the validation of Referral to Treatment (RTT) pathways, Diagnostic (DM01) pathways and data quality checking against set nationally and locally defined targets.The RTT Validator role will be responsible for the proactive management, monitoring and validation of clinical pathways, supporting operational teams to improve the accuracy of patient waiting time information, maintain performance targets, appropriately escalate potentially breaches of waiting targets and ensure patients are treated in a timely manner.
Main duties of the job
The main responsibilities of the role are to investigate and validate clinical pathways, assisting operational teams to ensure patient waiting times are reported accurately, as well as supporting the Trust in maintaining performance and improvement of patient care.The post-holder will liaise closely with a wide range of staff to ensure that RTT patient data is being recorded on Trust administration systems correctly with the aim of improving data quality and supporting the operational teams in tracking and expediting patients throughout their care pathway.The post holder may be required to work at home full time, work from site full time, or work as part of a hybrid approach depending on the assigned task.
