Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Band 7 Specialist Nurse to join our Travel Medicine team at the Hospital for Tropical Diseases. This is a unique opportunity to lead and shape the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in the clinical leadership, development, and operational management of the nursing team, contributing to service growth, governance, education, and collaborative partnerships with NHS and private sectors.
Main duties of the job
Experience with PGDs
Experience in leading governance processes including vaccine management
Travel medicine qualification such as ISTM certificate or diploma or SCTM or working towards
The map to all the RCN travel competencies
Leadership and Governance over travel service based within HTD
