Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Chief Nurse team at UCLH as the Matron for Enhanced Observations.

You will act as the clinical lead for enhanced observations and care and provide forward-thinking clinical and professional leadership to support the development and delivery of this important agenda for UCLH.

Working closely with colleagues across the Trust, you will have a particular focus on three key impact areas: operational delivery, resource management & efficiencies and professional/people management.

Main duties of the job

You will contribute to the ongoing implementation of the trust strategy and nursing and midwifery priorities and undertake the key functions of the Matron role ensuring that patient safety, quality of care and patient experience is of the highest possible standard at all times.

You will have collaborative leadership skills, a passion for high-quality patient care and a drive to enhance patient outcomes and improve staff experience.
