Job summary

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Epic-certified/accredited professional with a keen interest in digital healthcare. The successful candidates will join an experienced and diverse team of analysts who support UCLH's digital infrastructure. Our current opportunity is in the EHR Diagnostics team. The team manage the Radiant, Lumens and Cupid applications within Epic.

It is a requirement that candidates hold Epic certification or accreditation, ideally but not necessarily within the applications we are recruiting into. If you do not have certification/ accreditation within the relevant application, you will be required to undertake a period of training to complete this. The UCLH EHR Diagnostics team analysts are certified/accredited in Radiant, Lumens and Cupid. You will be fully supported by your manager and team to obtain these certifications/accreditations.The EHR team have worked largely remotely for the last 18 months and we are open to applications from outside of the London area, however onsite attendance is encouraged once every two weeks.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will oversee and be responsible for the design, configuration, build, and testing of their application module. You will support the Management team to ensure the team execute relevant plans and deliver work on time in adherence to the established governance structure and quality standards. You will work with departmental leads, operational managers, super-users and subject matter experts, analysing service needs to agree and deliver clinical best practice standards, future workflows and system optimisation. You will contribute to scoping and prioritisation of new projects in line with Trust strategic objectives.

The work will include developing, leading and supporting analysts within an application team, and working closely with training, technical, information, programme management, benefits and communications staff. You will spend a part of your time working with other EHRS teams in several "integrated areas" requiring close collaborative and co-ordinated working with other EHRS teams, including: orders, users & security, reporting, testing, training, interfaces, and business continuity planning. We also have a rolling upgrade programme which delivers new features and functionality to ensure the system is up-to-date.
