Job summary
We are looking for a senior Clinical Psychologist with experience in Neuropsychology and Paediatrics to join the Proton Beam Therapy (PBT) team who is also interested in systemic ways of working. This will involve working closely with the clinical lead for proton beam service in a senior position, to provide clinical psychology provision to the Proton Beam Therapy service at UCLH. This will include being responsible for the undertaking of neuropsychological assessments with children and young people attending UCLH for proton beam radiotherapy as well as therapeutic input.
In addition, the post-holder will provide psychological consultation to the wider radiotherapy team and supervise both clinical and assistant psychologists in the team.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will also support the general neuropsychology service through senior leadership, supervision and coordination of referrals. There will also be other paediatric teams across UCLH which this post holder will support through MDT membership and providing joined up psychological care to young people and families as part of the wider psychology team whilst holding systemic and narrative ideas of working in mind.

- Honours degree in psychology or related disciplines, and a Doctorate and/or PhD level in clinical psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) (acquired as part of the clinical training)
- Registered Practitioner Psychologist by the HCPC.

- Skills in the use of complex methods of neuropsychological assessment, intervention and management.
- High-level knowledge of the theory and practice of specialised psychological therapies, including systemic therapy.
