Job summary
The role of Vascular CNS involves playing a key part in the wider service. Working between different professional teams to ensure the patient's journey throughout the hospital is optimised and streamlined.
This post holder will need excellent communication skills and be able to competently and accurately action recommendations for patients from wider teams. The successful applicant will work within a team of supportive colleges from multiple different professional backgrounds.
The patient will remain centre of all that is done, with triaging of patient concerns a key part, requiring applicants to listen, plan, seek advice from others and reassure patients.
Main duties of the job
o Attending and actioning the outcomes for the Vascular MDTo Triage patients whilst outpatientso Undertaking a regular nurse led clinico Ensuring patients have their imaging as directed by the wider MDT and based on trust / national guidelines.
