We have a well-established and experienced multidisciplinary team with a track record of innovation and research.
We have an opportunity for an experienced Clinician to strategically lead and manage the Trust wide Infection Control service at UCLH and provide strategic support and leadership on the Infection Control agenda to the Trust.

Main duties of the job
The Director of Infection Prevention and Control (DIPC) will be responsible for providing strategic leadership on all Infection Prevention and Control matters across UCLH. The DIPC will provide advice on Infection Prevention and Control practices and act as a specialist advisor to all staff, including to the Deputy DIPC's and the Infection Control team. The DIPC is responsible for all Trust level and external reporting and assurance. The post holder will be responsible for championing and driving through all aspects in the prevention and management of Hospital Acquired Infection (HAI).
The post holder will spend 2 PA's (1 working day) equivalent dedicated to the work of the DIPC, which will involve a variety attending strategic and operation al meetings, developing and leading implementation of an IPC strategy and working closely with key partners as listed below.
