This is a great opportunity to join the ULCH Estates and Facilities Directorate as we are looking to recruit a self-motivated and experienced Senior Estates Manager to join our Estates department. The team are focused on establishing and maintaining first class Healthcare environments, thereby ensuring the best possible care and services can be provided to our Patients, Visitors, and Staff alike.
The Estates department provide UCLH with 'informed client' technical expertise associated with the delivery and monitoring of HTM complaint services throughout our facilities. These services, mainly provided via service partnerships with major specialist service partners, both within a PFI and throughout our non PFI retained estates environments.
Main duties of the job
Reporting to UCLH's Head of Estates, the post holder would be joining a small specialist team dedicated to the management and operation of all UCLH properties, ranging from office accommodation to major PFI inpatient and acute services hospitals, and highly complex specialist treatment facilities such as our Proton Beam Therapy Centre.
The post is a pivotal senior role in the support of the delivery of Estates Services to UCLH, tasked with ensuring that professional and customer service focused leadership of the UCLH Estates team is provided, ensuring the effective day to day management our specialist service partners who undertake building services related support to the UCLH facilities on the Trust's behalf.
The post will be primarily based in the Estates and Facilities Directorate offices in John Astor House, Foley Street, with flexible working opportunities through our working well anywhere policy where appropriate. The post holder will also be expected to work across sites as required and based on needs, throughout the Trust's London based properties.
