Job summary
We have a unique opportunity for an experienced research manager to take on the role of Clinical Research Manager for the rapidly expanding clinical research portfolio of the RNENT & EDH. The post holder will play a critical role in enabling research in the hospitals to be delivered safely and successfully by working closely with UCL/H researchers and RNENT & EDH management.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will advise researchers in the development and regulatory approvals of their clinical studies and guide them to relevant research organisations inside and outside UCL/H, be responsible for the running of the RNENT & EDH Clinical Research Feasibility Committee (CRFC), line manage a team of research support staff and work with the hospitals Senior Management Team to plan, coordinate and align research activity with the clinical services. The postholder will work with researchers and Trust finance managers to ensure clinical studies running in the RNENT & EDH are adequately costed and manage the hospitals research budgets.
