An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Corporate Team at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, discreet and high-performing individual who can manage the workload of multiple senior offices, providing the highest support standard to the Chief People Officer and Deputy Director of Workforce across UCLH and Whittington Health.
Over the past year, UCLH and Whittington Health have strengthened their existing collaboration and have set ambitious strategic aims to improve the level of care provided to patients and to further strengthen the collaboration of corporate services. The Chief People Officer will set the strategic workforce vision for both organisations and ensure integration and alignment wherever possible for closer collaboration across both HR functions.
This role will be part of the corporate teams at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) and Whittington Health NHS Trust (WH).

Main duties of the job
- To provide high quality business and project management support to the Chief People Officer and the Deputy Directors of Workforce across the two organisations
- To be responsible for the operational, administration and business management, providing initial prioritisation of incoming work, including executive assistant duties.
- To be responsible for the management of meetings and projects on a delegated basis from the chief people officer.
- To have considerable autonomy and scope for contributing to project work.
- To act as the first point of contact for all staff including clinicians, internal and external stakeholders at the most senior level. Liaise directly with the Department of Health, NHS Executives, local bodies including health and local authorities and other Trusts. This will include dealing with highly confidential issues and managing the director's mailbox.
