An exciting opportunity has arisen in Women's Health Division at University College London Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, for a talented General Manager to manage our Gynaecology and Breast services.
We are looking for a dynamic leader, who is passionate about quality, patient-centred care and our people. You will be collaborative and able to oversee the operational delivery of the services and drive improvement of clinical services, including focus on delivering against national targets and providing an outstanding service for our patients.
Main duties of the job
Reporting to the Women's Health Divisional Manager, the General Manage provides senior operational leadership across Gynaecology, Gynae-oncology and Breast services, which encompasses surgical, inpatient and outpatient services and pathways across a range of specialist services.
The successful candidate will provide strategic direction and operational leadership to ensure services continue to improve and develop. Many of our sub-specialities are at an exciting time in their evolution, including improving our performance against Cancer waiting times and driving elective recovery as well as working with clinical teams to continue to enhance productivity.
Further there are significant opportunities to work collaboratively across trusts as part of North Central London ICS in order to deliver sustainable changes which benefit patients and staff. In this role the successful candidate will have key external facing leadership within the ICS alongside leaders in other acute trusts and in partnership with commissioning colleagues and community providers.

- Management degree or equivalent (or in exceptional circumstances - able to demonstrate significant level of equivalent experience)
- A formal post graduate qualification, ideally in management or equivalent senior level experience

- Experience of service redesign and development
- Experience of effective management of budget
