Job summary
The Department of Respiratory Medicine is delighted to invite applications for two Clinical Fellows (ST3+ or equivalent) in Respiratory Medicine for 1 year from October 2024.
The candidates must be committed to a research vision and will be expected to assist in either clinical or translational research projects. The post will suit candidates wishing to develop subspecialty skills in Lung Cancer management and research.
Main duties of the job
The post holders will support Professor Sam Janes, Dr Neal Navani and Dr Ricky Thakrar and work within the Lung Cancer team. They will help run the North-Central London Targeted Lung Health Check (TLHC) programme and provide clinical support to the team of clinical nurse specialists and administration staff.
The role will include outpatient clinic work (TLHC clinics), attendance at bronchoscopy lists, and participating in departmental governance and training meetings. There will also be opportunities to develop your own research project.
