Job summary
The Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine (RLHIM) is the largest public-sector provider of integrated medicine in Europe. We provide an innovative, patient-centred service integrating the best of conventional and complementary treatments for a wide range of conditions.
This post is graded at Band 7, reflecting the need for an experienced, independent practitioner. The therapist will be responsible for managing their own caseload and will provide therapy on an individual and group basis. We will provide in-house 1:1 supervision and the successful candidate will be invited to join monthly peer group meetings for all clinicians working in Psychological Therapies at the RLHIM.
Main duties of the job
We are recruiting a 0.5 wte CBT Psychotherapist for our Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Unit. The therapist will work as part of a small CBT Team providing an outpatient service for our patients who experience a range of chronic, complex conditions. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of knowledge and skills as a therapist working with a mixed caseload. Patients may include those with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia Syndrome and Disorders of Gut Brain Interaction (DGBI) Persistent Physical Symptoms amongst others.
