Applications are invited for a substantive Specialty Dentist post in Oral medicine at the Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospitals, part of the Specialist Hospitals Board of University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The post sits within the Dental Medicine Department, which comprises Special Care Dentistry, Oral Medicine and Facial Pain.
Successful applicants will join an established team in providing a wide range of specialist care. Applicants will be expected to have excellent communication skills and clinical experience
The essential requirements for the role are: possession of at least 3 years of postgraduate clinical dental experience (including at least 1 year of full time postgraduate clinical experience working within an oral medicine / facial pain multi-disciplinary service), experience in working as part of a facial pain multidisciplinary team and full, current GDC registration.
Main duties of the job
The oral medicine and facial pain service delivers high quality, multi-disciplinary care. This position is to support existing service provision. The post will be strategic to meeting the needs of the patient cohort and will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth running of the service.
Good inter-personal communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels are essential.
