Job summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Digital Learning Apprentice within our Staff Development team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual to develop a strong foundation in digital learning design and implementation whilst undertaking a nationally-recognised qualification.
To be eligible for this apprenticeship you need to have a first degree (or equivalent knowledge gained through experience), GCSEs in Maths and English (A* to C/ 9-4).
The assessment and interviews will take place on 8th or 9th January 2024.
GCSE certificates for Maths and English will be requested before this . Please ensure that you have access to these and can make the dates above before applying.
Applicants must not be in any other form of education or have qualifications in the same subject at a higher level.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be involved in the end-to-end development of engaging digital learning interventions, supporting subject matter experts (SMEs) throughout the instructional design process. The role will involve using various authoring tools and maintaining high standards of design principles, whilst undertaking a level 5 Digital Learning Designer apprenticeship (equivalent to a foundation degree).
You don't need to have specific experience in this area, however this apprenticeship would be suited to someone who has some prior experience in, or exposure to, working in training, education, or digital learning. You will also have excellent communication and collaboration skills, the ability to work effectively within a team, strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
The role will be mainly home-based, however the successful candidate will need to be able to travel to our offices in central London as and when required.
