Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to work and train within our Dermatology Services at UCLH.
The position is a fixed 12 month term post and will provide training and experience in general dermatology, skin cancer, skin surgery and acute dermatology as well as several specialist clinics. It is suitable for candidates who have obtained their MRCP and are looking to gain dermatology experience prior to a specialist training post in dermatology.
Main duties of the job
You will be expected to participate in general dermatology, skin cancer, biopsy lists and a number of specialist clinics provided by the Department. You will have training and clinical supervision from the Consultants and support from the Education and Clinical Leads.
Your role will involve delivering a dermatology on-call service during 0830 - 1800 Monday to Friday as part of the Registrar rota.
There is an active Education programme within the Department with weekly sessions timetabled to attend meetings at the Royal Society of Medicine, St Johns Institute of Dermatology and the Pan-Thames teaching programme.
