Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit an experienced registered nurse to join our large well established tertiary referral Specialist Allergy team at the Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospitals within UCLH NHS Foundation Trust.

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and skilled registered nurse with clinical experience and/or a particular interest in the care and management of patients with allergies. You will have excellent communication and leadership skills, be well organised and committed to working without direct supervision. You will be used to working as a member of a multidisciplinary team delivering holistic care, support and education to patients and their families in outpatient and day care settings.

Main duties of the job

Your responsibilities will include performing food/drug challenges, immunotherapy, desensitisation, a wide range of allergy testing, administering biologics and participation in research. You will be providing advice on allergy management to patients, families and other members of the multidisciplinary team as well as supporting nurse-led clinics. You will be actively involved in the smooth delivery of care and continued development of the service.
