Job summary

MS Clinical Fellowship (SpR/ST3+ Level)University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are recruiting a Clinical Fellow to work with the Multiple Sclerosis Team at the National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery, Queen Square, London.

Main duties of the job

This post will provide an opportunity for a Specialist Registrar in Neurology (or equivalent outside the UK), ideally in the mid to late stages of training or post-CCT, to spend a year at the Queen Square MS Centre. The post is ideal for someone who plans to take up a consultant post with an interest in MS in the future. The fellowship will run for 12 months, and will combine clinical and research training in MS and related disorders. This will include training and experience in MS clinical management, a research project in MS, and teaching. The Fellow will also have opportunities to attend various educational activities at Queen Square such as the Gower's Grand Round and UCL seminars. The Fellow will be encouraged to attend an ABN or ECTRIMS congress during their year with the team. There is no on-call commitment but, if the Fellow wishes, there may be opportunities to take part in Neurology or Stroke rotas.

About us

The NHNN provides tertiary level care in a wide spectrum of neurological and neurosurgical disease, with a regional, national and international referral base. The hospital is co-located with the Institute of Neurology in Queen Square, London WC1. These institutions share the common aim of promoting research, clinical care and teaching in neuroscience and its allied scientific and clinical disciplines.
