Job summary
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a diverse team, supporting the clinical education programmes in one of the busiest ambulance services in the world.
The Clinical Education and Standards department are based in specialist education facilities, located at Dockside, Brentford, and Barking / Croydon for 111 / 999 education.
The Curriculum Developer has a significant role in developing the future of education and in driving a modern and exciting educational curriculum.
The successful candidates will have strong communication and organisation skills. You will know how to motivate a team and will be a great problem-solver, finding innovative solutions for the day to day running of the function, while remaining flexible and adaptable in a fast-moving environment. You will take pride in your work, be proactive and will be a role-model for civility in the workplace
We have 3 vacancies, 2 of these are permanent full time roles, with at least 1 filling the registrant requirement and 1 is a 12 month secondment.
Successful candidates who are current Band 7 clinical tutors will retain the 13% R&R payment attached to their salary.
Main duties of the job
Under the guidance of the Clinical Education Programme Manager, and in response to gap analysis outcomes, lead in the design, development and implementation of new educational packages.
Working with tutors and support staff, drive a modern and exciting educational curriculum for A&E Operations, EOC, 111 and IUC
The post holder will coordinate the development and review of all course materials for clinical education programmes, to ensure consistency across programmes and that materials are accurate and up to date.
Ensure the continued improvement of course content and delivery methods to promote a modern approach to clinical education curriculum.
