Job summary
As a Vehicle Resource Centre Co-ordinator, you are responsible for effectively resourcing vehicles and equipment which will directly impact on the Services ability to provide patient care to the highest level possible and meet current performance standards.
This role is based at London Ambulance Service, Headquarters, 220 Waterloo Road, SE1 8SD.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be someone who is able to represent the Vehicle Resource Centre and act as a focal point for both Fleet and Logistical resources and to ensure optimal cover is not compromised through vehicle availability.
You will know how to work as a team, hold strong communication and organisational skills and will be a great problem-solver, finding innovative solutions for the day to day running of the role, whilst remaining flexible and adaptable in a fast-moving environment.
You will take pride in your work, be proactive and will be a role model for civility in the workplace.

The Vehicle Resource Centre is a 24hr department, introduced in 2008 and currently employs 30 members of staff - 1x Manager, 1x Support Manager, 5x Supervisors and 23 Coordinators.
We are a tight knit team, committed to excellence, ensuring we work well together to effectively resource vehicles and equipment which will directly impact on the Services ability to provide patient care to the highest level possible.
