Job summary
The purpose of this role is to support the delivery of excellent clinical care for patients by having the right equipment and products available at the right place at the right time. Supervising a team of operatives to carry out cleaning, movement and restocking of front line vehicles.o Checking of and re-stocking of equipment and consumables including the use of barcode and RFID scanners and electronic reportingo Organising cleaning and resources, including staff, to deliver to plan.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be required to create daily plan of vehicle preparation of required Ambulances? The post holder will be required to administer regular preparation, cleaning of operational vehicles, whilst following processes and procedures and adhering to all standards.? Ensuring that all deep cleaning is in accordance with vehicle servicing scheduling.? To ensure that all ambulances are re-stocked with consumables and have the required equipment on board, before the vehicle leaves the station? To monitor equipment stores and log the used or stock items in real time using hand held scanning devices and linking with logistics and the CAMs system. Ensure accuracy to procedures, taking due care to ensure equipment and consumables are correctly labeled, stored and distributed.? To supervise the VP team at the hub and provide logistic support within associated satellite stations where they are located. Including checking GRS is accurate including shift times, overtime and absence.? Work with the Service Desk / VRC / Ops Manager and at local station, keeping them up to date with any problems or issues

Work with the Service Desk / VRC / Ops Manager and at local station, keeping them up to date with any problems or issues To manage and control the issuing and usage of cleaning materials on site, making sure that the correct cleaning materials are used for the task in hand and that there is adequate stock held in stores. This includes the scanning of consumables linking to logistics and the central asset management system. To carry out a weekly check of machinery and equipment to make sure it is in a safe working condition. Ensure that any defects are reported promptly to the appropriate stakeholders. Communication effective with colleagues, front line staff and supervisors in professional manner. Maintain a clean and tidy hub whilst using chemicals and high pressure equipment including disposing of waste appropriately adhering to H&S and Infection Control Adhering to protocols check with regards to vehicle stock level, equipment and consumables. Report missing equipment, faulty equipment to Quartermaster and through CSS system Undertake all statutory and mandatory training in line with trust policy, appropriate to the role Assist in the training and development of all staff and support the annual PDR outputs Wearing of uniform in accordance with uniform policy Undertake any other duties appropriate to the grade of the role
Make certain that all staff are aware of and trained in their responsibilities under Health and Safety legislation To ensure full compliance with COSHH legislation including providing company training in this area to all staff To ensure full compliance with food hygiene guidelines ensuring that all colleagues understand their obligations Support with all Health and Safety systems and the upkeep of risk assessments To ensure that all staff undertake the trust mandatory training in appropriate timeframe and for their role
