Job summary

BEH are the designated lead provider for the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism, engaging with the North Central London Regional working group to ensure the implementation and roll out of standardised training is achieved consistently.

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a diverse team with professionals from diverse health and social care organisations, supporting the creation and delivery of this project across NCL, reaching circa 80,000 colleagues.

This role will play a pivotal part in shaping and delivering the roll out of the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training programme effectively.

You will raise awareness of the statutory requirements of the programme, supporting the clear communication and efficient delivery, control, planning and reporting of this initiative.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic expertise, to proactively support the delivery and implementation of this major change activity and initiative, with a focus on the human behaviour and the people impact of change.
  • To provide professional support, expertise, and management of the project and workstreams ensuring that they are set up appropriately, equipped with the right level of resources and remain focused on the vision and objectives of the project.
  • Provide leadership and focus to the project team and pro-actively communicate with key stakeholders on the development and delivery of the project ensuring that it is managed in line with best practice standards and that risks are managed, and benefits realised.
  • Planning and monitoring overall progress to make sure that project milestones are being met across the various workstreams.
  • Responsible for undertaking development and providing project management in support of developing competencies within the NCL ICS.
  • Work with the Head of Learning & Development to support the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training programme, building productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
