Job summary
The Digital Trainer role provides IT training to internal staff and other users who use the Trust'ssystems. This includes classroom and ad-hoc training for the Trust's EPR system, RiO, eObs, Flow and also training for other IT applications in use across the Trust such as Office365, digital dictationand ePMA. The responsibility includes delivery of training for new systems and software that are introduced in future, and as a result, the postholder(s) are required to maintain and regularly update their skills in relation to emerging technology.
Main duties of the job
Devise and deliver relevant and appropriate training in the use of digital systems and applications to individuals and staff groups using face to face training, teams, e learning, articulate.
Provide follow up support to staff in the workplace after training if required;
To lead scheduled classroom-based training, travelling to Trust sites if necessary
To lead scheduled video-based training as required Work with the IT Service Management function to ensure issues identified viareported incidents are addressed via training Work with the applications team and ensure feedback from staff is used to informsystems and applications development and changes Produce all required training materials and documentation and ensure this is regularlyupdated in line with application upgrades and the introduction of new technology Develop and maintain an up-to-date and engaging intranet presence that is availableto users. Develop and maintain eLearning courses as required. Prepare training schedules, book users into trainings and advise staff on their trainingrequirements. Assist in the development of on-going Microsoft Office training programme includingother technology related topics and programmes Liaise with stakeholder Service Managers and problem solving when visiting staff. Work with project teams on briefs to develop clinical software/application specifications, and to produce realistic action plans to implement the training requirements for each project.
About us
We have been working together in a Partnership between Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust and Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust for some time, with a single Chair and Chief Executive since 2021 and single Executive Team since 2022. We launched our North London Mental Health Partnership Strategy in May 2023 and in July 2023 our Boards agreed that coming together to create one new Trust is best for our service users, our staff and our local communities. Subject to final approvals, we will be formally established as one new Trust on 1 October 2024.
