Job summary
This role is to work in partnership with the Consultant Psychiatrists and other clinical leads on the clinical service and development of the Enfield CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Service (NDS).
We welcome applications from diverse backgrounds, of clinicians from either of the following:
- HCPC registered Psychologists
- Systemic Family Therapy Psychotherapy with professional registration with the UKCP
- Psychotherapists accredited by the Association of Child Psychotherapists (ACP) with full membership of the Professional Standards Authority (PSA)
The role includes holding a clinical caseload providing expert therapeutic intervention, as well as the clinical leadership of the service.
This role is supported by job planning along with support from leads within Enfield Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service(CAMHS).
Working alongside the Consultant Psychiatrists and Team Manager, holding responsibility for the delivery of clinical care and for implementing and reviewing Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs) ensuring the provision of high-quality services within frameworks agreed by the Trust and the Commissioners.
Main duties of the job
This role is to lead on the clinical service and development of the CAMHS NDS team within the division. The role includes having a clinical caseload providing expert therapeutic intervention. This role is supported by job planning along with support from leads within Enfield CAMHS.

- ADOS-2 and/or ADI-R - trained & currently practicing

- PHD / doctorate qualification related to clinical practice
- Trained and accredited in more than one therapeutic modality
- BPS Chartership
- Leadership qualification

- Ability to contain explore & formulate high levels of distress: Pts. & Staff
- Good IT skills with knowledge of electronic clinical records and Microsoft systems
- Clinical supervision and appraisal skills

- Consultation skills to other professional and non-professional groups
Experience/ Knowledge

- At least 2 years post qualification experience at Band 8a or higher in CYPMH

- Experience of developing clinical practice
- Experience of clinical audits & improvement action plans

- Experience of teaching, training &/or professional and clinical supervision.
