Job summary

The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism is named after Oliver McGowan, whose death shone a light on the need for health and social care staff to have better training. We are looking for Autistic Co-trainers to co-deliver the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training for Learning Disability and Autism alongside Facilitating Trainers and Co-trainers with learning disabilities to our health workforce.

You will be joining a friendly, supportive, and dedicated team who are passionate about making a difference for people with learning disabilities and autistic people.

As a Co-trainer you be an expert with lived experience and have a diagnosis of autism. You will be encouraged to share your experiences of being autistic.
