Job summary
Enfield Talking Therapies (formerly Lets Talk Enfield IAPT) is looking to recruit a senior CBT therapist to join our current senior staff team. This is a new post created to support team expansion, delivery of new national key performance indicators and support the needs of a diverse workforce and the communities we serve.
We are looking for enthusiastic and accredited CBT therapists who have substantial experience of working in Talking Therapies (formerly IAPT) and who are interested in further expanding their leadership and supervisory skills.
Candidates must have experience in the formal supervision and line management of Talking Therapies practitioners, and of leading on areas of service development . We are particularly looking for applicants who have experience of and an interest in EDI and who would be able to provide leadership and support for these initiatives already underway within the team.
The postholder will work alongside an experienced senior staff team, and report to and be supported by the Clinical Lead and Deputy Clinical Lead for Enfield Talking Therapies.
Applicants are informed that we operate a hybrid working system in line with the Trust's agile working policy which means postholders are expected to come on site to our bases (at least 2 days a week currently) and combine this with remote working in accordance with service needs. Hours worked must cover core service hours, including senior cover for evening clinics upto 8.00 pm once a week.
Main duties of the job
- To work as part of the Senior Management Team , providing clinical supervision, line management and service development support.
- To provide line management and clinical supervision to staff, this also includes monitoring, managing and supporting performance.
- To carry a small clinical caseload, and provide specialist assessments and treatments
- To lead on areas of service development, particularly on initiatives to improve access to underrepresented groups, and also EDI (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion) initiatives within the team.
- To provide senior management cover for triage screening and supervision, on site cover and also evening clinics running upto 8.00 pm on a rota basis.
