Job summary
As part of the expansion of early years offer, Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust is expanding the 0-5 provision and is currently setting up a 0-5 Tri-Borough pathway across the boroughs of Barnet, Enfield and Haringey. The Tri-borough pathway will have a core offer of a multidisciplinary team providing a service to babies and young children together with their parents. The current 0-5 Tri-borough pathway in Enfield CAMHS is currently set up of a small, developing team which has combined the Enfield Parent Infant Partnership (EPIP)team who work together with parents and their babies up to the age of 2 and the team that work with children aged 2-5.
As part of this expansion, Enfield Local Authority as part of the Start for Life funding, is enhancing the Local Enfield CAMHS 0-5 provision, specifically the Parent-Infant pathway with the aim to outreach into Family Hubs and provide the above work in local family hubs. The post holder will be receiving training in a parenting programme and is expected to deliver and support the deliver of this offer alongside with other clinicians and local authority.
Main duties of the job
To provide specialist advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals contributing directly to patients' formulation, diagnosis, and treatment plan.
To undertake other appropriate tasks to support the wider team's work as agreed with Clinical Pathway Lead and Service Lead, professional supervisor and line manager.
To communicate, in a skilled and sensitive manner, information concerning the assessment, formulation and treatment plans of patients under your care and to monitor progress during the course of both uni- and multidisciplinary care.
To contribute to clinical supervision of appropriate staff.
To provide advice, consultation and training to staff working with the patient group across a range of agencies and settings, where and as appropriate.

- Qualified Adult or Child Psychotherapy/ Clinical or Counselling Psychology that has been accepted by the HCPC/ BPC/ UKCP/ ACP for purposes of professional registration. Additional training beyond entry-level qualification in a specialised area of practice (Parent-Infant Psychotherapy/Psychoanalytic Baby Observation 18mnth-2 yrs) through formal post-qualification training (PG Diploma or equivalent), OR a combination of specialist short courses and/or an evidenced portfolio of supervised practice based learning in a specialist area of clinical practice, assessed by an experienced clinical supervisor to be of equal level to a Postgraduate Diploma or higher Registered with the HCPC/ BPC/ UKCP/ ACP/BABCP as a Psychological Therapist or Practitioner Psychologist, and evidence of continuing professional development as required by the registering body.
