Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Senior Nurse Practitioner to join a HTAS accredited Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team in Haringey. This is a full-time, permanent position within a 7 day per week/24hours a day service which provides urgent care for people experiencing mental health crisis as an alternative to hospital admission. The CRHTT is crucial in delivering urgent crisis resolution assessments and treatment for service users by assessing their needs and caring for them in the least restrictive environment.

Main duties of the job
The team are looking for a pro-active practitioner who will be able to provide a supportive role to other members of staff, acting as a role model. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate creativity, resilience, flexibility and take a positive approach to the running of the service and service user care.
The position is primarily a clinical position involving the assessment of the mental health needs for clients in the community and liaising with community mental health teams and other external agencies, ensuring service users receive the best possible care. Post holder should be able to work autonomously and must demonstrate a high level of expertise as a mental health practitioner. The post holder will be expected to maintain high standards of care and comply with all policies and guidelines as per BEH standards together with those of their professional body
