As part of our aim to improve the overall employee experience, we intend to review, develop and embed a local induction process across the partnership based on the overall Partnership Vision and Aims. This role is about developing a common Local Induction process across the Partnership through a defined and robust engagement process which aims to embed the best of Local Induction across all levels.

Main duties of the job

  • Main point of contact for local inductions, offering clear guidance to Hiring Managers regarding the onboarding journey.
  • Collaborate with the Induction Leads, Recruitment Team and Shared Services to document process maps and business guidelines for onboarding staff, ensuring effective communication to all Hiring Managers.
  • When engaging resources, work with Hiring Managers to ensure downstream processes follow agreed-upon procedures, enabling workers to be productive from day one.
  • Communicate effectively and partner closely with HR, IT, Operational and Recruitment to understand evolving needs and work hand-in-hand with them to deliver staffing solutions.
  • Work as part of the wider People and OD Partnership Team, providing cross cover as appropriate.
  • Ensure continuing personal and professional development, taking ownership of an accountability for maintaining expert, up to date knowledge in all relevant fields.
