Job summary
The North London Mental Health Partnership - a Partnership of Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust (BEH) and Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust (C&I) - was first established in 2021 to better support service users, carers and partners to improve the mental health of everyone in North London. We are better able to address challenges through our two Trusts working more closely together, and ultimately create a united and powerful voice championing mental health and mental health services within North London.
Main duties of the job
Estates and facilities play a pivotal role in the delivery of our strategy to drive out variation in care and improve both outcomes and access. The Director of Estates and Facilities has a platform to help address health inequalities faced by people with mental illness and ensure our patients and local communities receive equity of outcome across sites. The incumbent will provide senior operational leadership to the Partnership's estates infrastructure and will enable efficiencies and the ability to reinvest resources where they are most needed. Subsequently, with one individual providing oversight, we will most effectively scale our services and accelerate the ambitions of both Trusts. Ultimately, our next Director of Estates and Facilities will be fundamental in creating a safe, effective and healthy joint estate to facilitate therapeutic environments.
