Job summary

The Head of Analytics (HoA) is a new role that will work across both Barnet, Enfield and Haringey (BEH) and Camden and Islington (C and I) Mental Health Trusts and the postholder will play a key role in leading on the accelerated expansion of the Partnership's business intelligence platform and advanced analytical capability to deliver the aims of the Partnership's Digital Strategic Plan.

The post holder will lead the provision of an efficient, effective and high quality professional and well- coordinated analytical delivery service capable of meeting the needs of an ambitious mental health provider partnership that is focused on transforming the delivery of mental health services across North London.

Main duties of the job

The postholder will be responsible for:

  • Leading the delivery and expansion of a high-quality analytical service across both organisations, including management of third-party managed service delivery contracts.
  • The implementation of a Partnership-wide wide BI Analytical Strategy, with specific responsibility for the planning, delivery and monitoring of an annual plan to meet the Partnership's goals and objectives in relation to analytical service and business intelligence solution delivery.
  • Leading a continuous service improvement approach and improving the quality of the analytical service that will be delivered internally and externally.
  • Leading a large team of business intelligence analysts including taking lead responsibility for nurturing talent and building a high-performing and close-working function. The postholder will be responsible for the quality and technical approach taken by team members, ensuring it is in-line with the Partnership's strategy and that projects are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Contribute significantly to the transformation and clinical delivery agenda of the Partnership.
  • Provide oversight and management of all aspects of the Data and Analytics Department budgets.
