The OT role focusses on functional daily living skills, establishing structured routines and managing specific mental health and risk issues. The OT process includes the assessment, goal and intervention planning and ongoing review of occupational needs. Interventions may include referring to in-house and external vocational and educational services, one to one and ward based interventions, and supporting community integration as part of their recovery journey.
